Yeah I’ve switched to using real guitars now. This was back when I didn’t have a way of recording my guitar into the DAW. I definitely encourage people to record their own guitars if possible, but not everyone has the tools to do it

Sorry for the late reply! It’s done with something called automation clips. If you have an instrument in a mixer track, you can right click the volume of that mixer track and create an automation clip. It doesn’t just have to be volume though. You can do it with panning, effects, and other stuff. I hope this helps!

That’s amazing! It’s completely fine if your song doesn’t sounds great. You will definitely improve over time. Like you said, it’s overwhelming at the start, but it gets much easier and you’ll improve fast! As long as you make stuff that your proud of, that’s all that matters :)
